Overview
17 Morgan Street and 747 Ann Street are two commercial buildings in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, held as a single project.
17 Morgan Street is a two-storey red-brick building with a gabled parapet carrying the number 17 and faded painted signage across the brickwork. A planted terrace runs the width of the first floor, the ground floor is glazed behind a colonnade, and a forecourt car park sits in front with a modern office tower rising behind.
747 Ann Street is a white-rendered frontage with a raised central bay, a recessed entrance carrying the number 747, and glazed tenancies behind dark timber batten screens on either side. A taller office building stands behind it.
Our role
JN Group is the property owner here and a joint venture partner in the project. It holds 100% of 17 Morgan Street and 50% of 747 Ann Street.
This is a different position from the equity and capital stakes it takes in the residential developments elsewhere in the portfolio, and the only commercial holding in it.
Status
Both buildings are standing and in use. The project is at redevelopment planning stage: no scale and no timing have been set for the redevelopment.
