This policy explains how JN Group ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

Through this website we collect only what you choose to give us:

• your name;
• your email address;
• your telephone number, if you provide one;
• your company or organisation, if you provide one; and
• the content of the message you send us.

We also collect limited technical information — aggregated, non-identifying page analytics that do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites, and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability purposes.

Why we collect it

We use the personal information you provide to:

• respond to your enquiry and any follow-up correspondence;
• assess whether an opportunity may be relevant to you or to us;
• maintain a record of our dealings with you; and
• meet our legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use enquiry details to send marketing material unless you have asked us to.

Who we disclose it to

We disclose personal information only where it is necessary: to our service providers (including our email, hosting and form-delivery providers) to the extent required to run this website and our correspondence; to our professional advisers; and where we are required or authorised to do so by law, or to assist a regulatory authority.

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. Where that is the case, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that the recipient handles personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

How we hold and secure it

Enquiry submissions are delivered to a monitored mailbox and retained for as long as we have a legitimate business or legal reason to keep them. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Accessing and correcting your information

You may ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Complaints
